CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

If the pilot is blocked by debris,spider webs etc. the pilot flame may be small and the flame failure device may have not heated up
enough for the main burner to come on. If this happens it will be necessary to clean the pilot and its gas tube.
Care should always be taken to avoid damage to the gas piping and Piezo ignition lead.
The burner and mesh screen may than be cleaned by compressed air. Assembly is a reversal of the above procedure.
You may clean the surface of the heater with a damp cloth; do not use bleach or chlorine products to clean.
Eliminate the remains of ashes or dust that may stick to the holes of the burner head using an industrial blower or vacuum cleaner.

STORAGE

Always close the safety valve of the gas regulator, and if possible remove the gas-bottle form inside the cover.
After long periods of non-use, make sure the rubber tube of the regulator is not hard or shows cracks or cuts, if so change it as soon as
possible.
Never store gas-bottles in cellars, a leak and explosion may have terrible consequences.
