8. KNX-Adaption
In order to be able to control Ape Labs lights via KNX, the CONNECT must
be set as a wireless DMX transmitter. The CONNECT receives the DMX 512
input signal via the Ape Labs KNX-DMX adapter ( item no. 100078 ). The
KNX - Adaption only works in connection with the Ape Labs KNX DMX ad-
apter.
Danger! A KNX bus installation should be performed by an electrician.
General installation instructions
• Standard DMX mode for KNX operation: 4C mode (RGBW)
• Address your Ape Labs lamps with individual DMX addresses (Follow
the APP instructions)
• Follow the QR codes on the KNX-DMX adapter

Due to the continuous further development of the app, we cannot go into
the individual functions of the app in these operating instructions. The
lamp-related functions are described in the general Ape Labs user guide.

10. Service mode settings
1. Press the fixture button and hold it for about 5 seconds. The device will
turn on and blink blue/white. The button can now be released. (Lamps

without a button on the housing have a service button on the electro-
nics board. E.g. ApeCoin )
2. As soon as all settings have been made, a short push of a button is
enough to exit the service mode.
