1. Add the required ingredients to
the blender jug (3).
2. Close the lid (2) with the meas-
uring cup (1). Make sure that
the lid and measuring cup are
secure.
3. Turn the adjustment dial (7) to
the "ON" position.
The 3 function keys (6) flash.
4. Turn the adjustment dial to-
wards "MAX" until you reach
the desired speed.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
■ The maximum uninterrupt-
ed operating time is 3 min-
utes. The appliance must
cool off for at least 30 min-
utes afterwards.
During blending, you can remove
the measuring cup and add more
ingredients.
5. When you are satisfied with
the result, turn the adjustment
dial to "OFF".
6. Disconnect the mains plug
from the socket.
7. Remove the blender jug from
the motor block (5).

8. Remove the lid and pour out
the contents.
9. Clean the blender jug and
the appliance as described in
chapter "Cleaning and mainte-
nance" on page EN-20.

Pulse operation

This mode is suitable for hard food
such as nuts and ice cubes (max.
8 pieces).
The appliance runs at high speed
for as long as the adjustment
dial (7) is set to "P".
