■ Never touch the mains plug
with damp hands.
■ Never pull the mains plug
out of the socket by the
mains cord; always hold the
mains plug itself.
■ Never use the mains cord as
a carrying strap.
■ Keep the appliance, mains
plug and mains cord away
from open fl ames and hot
surfaces.
■ Lay out the mains cord in
such a way that it does not
become a trip hazard.
■ Do not kink the mains cord
or lay it over sharp edges.
■ Never store the appliance
where it can fall into a bath-
tub or sink.
■ Never touch an electrical
appliance if it has fallen
into water. In such a case,
immediately unplug the
mains plug from the socket.
■ In the event of a fault, al-
ways disconnect the appli-
ance from the mains sup-
ply.

Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in injury.
■ Be careful when using the
sharp blades, emptying the
container and during clean-
ing.
■ Never reach into the appli-
ance while it is running.
■ Before changing accesso-
ries or additional parts that
move during operation, the
appliance must be switched
off and disconnected from
the mains.
■ Do not pour hot or boiling
liquid into the blender jug.
If you do, be very careful.
Steam may suddenly es-
cape from the unit.
■ Always disconnect the ap-
pliance from the power sup-
ply when it is not in use and
before assembling, disas-
sembling or cleaning.
