5. The power cord plug must be easily accessible. Do not shorten the
cable nor use adapters in electrical outlets. The cord shall not touch
hot parts, lead over sharp edges, lie beneath the carpet or hang
from the shelf or table.
6. Do not turn the device on or off by plugging or unplugging the
power cord.
7. Close supervision is necessary for operating the device near
children.
8. Never insert anything in the openings or the vents or cover the
steam nozzles.
9. Always place the appliance on a solid, level surface at least 2 meters
away from furniture, water-absorbing surfaces and electrical
equipment. Place a water-resistant pad under the device. Never
place the humidifier on a surface that could be damaged by water
or moisture (e.g. wood, bamboo, lacquered surfaces, etc.). Do not
use the device in a high humidity environment such as a bathroom.
10. Protect skin and eyes from prolonged exposure to moist air.
Excessive humidity in the room can cause water to condense on
windows, furniture, walls, and generally on cooler objects. If this
happens, switch off the humidifier.
11. Do not add any ingredients to the water (e.g. additives, salt,
fragrances).
12. Do not switch the appliance on without water in the tank.
13. If an unusual smell or smoke begins to come from the device,
disconnect the device immediately and visit a service centre.
14. Do not clean the device using water.
15. Clean the appliance regularly and always turn it off and unplug it
before cleaning.
16. Do not direct the air flow at household pets, children, the wall or
furniture.
17. Never tilt, move or try to empty the water tank while the appliance
is in operation!
18. Do not step on the device and do not stack anything on top of it.
