in use
The device may show incorrect results
•
or nothing when used near a device that
produces electronic or magnetic noise.
Never use defective measuring wires.
•
Only use the device for purposes described
•
in the user manual! Improper usage does
not guarantee the further functioning of the
device.
Never use the device near flammable or
•
explosive gases or powders.
Before measuring, verify that the device is

measuring wires are connected properly. Do
this before every single measuring!
If the measured result is unknown, always start
•
measuring in the highest available range and
go backwards from that.
To protect the device, never exceed the
•
maximum inward values.
Be careful when measuring above 60V DC or
•
30V AC. These voltages may cause electric
shock.
When using a measuring sensor, make sure
•
that your fingers do not touch the metal
parts of the sensor and are behind the finger
protection area at all times.
Before switching between measuring
•
modes and functions always disconnect the
measuring wires from the measured circuit.
When measuring resistance, continuity or
•
diode, always make sure that the device is not
connected to a circuit that is under power,
and that all high capacity capacitors are
discharged.
Before measuring current, disconnect
•
the power source from the circuit before
connecting the device to it.
If the low battery symbol appears on the
•
screen, replace the battery.
