CONNECTION / OPERATION
Your barbecue is suitable for use indoors and outdoors and can
be used anywhere where a power supply is available. It is easy to
transport and operate. Before use, please note the follow-ing:
1. Always ensure that the socket that is used has the correct
voltage (230 V). The socket must also be suitable for equip-
ment with power consumption of 2000 Watts.
2. Always use the provided aluminium reflector with the equip-
ment, both indoors and outdoors.
The cooking grill must not be covered with aluminium foil or the
like, since there is a risk of overheating.
Plug the equipment into the power socket and select required
temperature using the infinitely variable thermostat controller
by turning the controller clockwise from the marked "NULL/
AUS" ("ZERO/ OFF") position.
The barbecue heats up automatically until the preselected
heating level is reached, and then switches off again. The ON
indicator lamp illuminates during the heating procedure. When
the selected temperature is reached, the lamp goes off. As soon
as the equipment drops below the preselected temperature, the
thermostat automatically switches the heater on again and the
lamp comes on. This ensures that a constant cooking tempera-
ture is maintained.
The heating level that is selected depends on individual prefer-
ence, but for longer periods of operation we recommend using
the maximum setting. If you wish to stop cooking temporarily
or altogether, set the thermostat to "NULL" ("ZERO") again
and the equipment will switch off.
Please disconnect the equipment from the power supply when
you stop cooking.
