NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
− Do not under any circumstances use harsh, scouring or abrasive
cleaning agents or the like to clean the scale. Otherwise, the surface
could be scratched.
− Wipe the scale as needed with a slightly damp soft cloth.
− Disinfect the weighing surface from time to time using a suitable disinfecting
agent (available at specialist retailers and pharmacies).

Possible cause
‚ Are the batteries empty or inserted the wrong
way around?
‚ Is the scale located on a firm, even surface?
‚ Is a device that can cause electromagnetic
disturbances located in the vicinity of the scale?
‚ Remove the batteries from the scale and wait a
moment. Reinsert the battery.
‚ The maximum capacity of the scale (180 kg) has
been exceeded.
‚ The batteries are empty (see "Inserting/
changing batteries").
‚ The weighing/measurement process was
faulty: The scales are not standing stably or you
are not standing still on the weighing surface
during weighing. Repeat the process.
