NOTICE
UNIVERSAL - GROUP III
When using as Universal category (Group III), please notice below information:
• This is a "Universal" child restraint. It is approved to Regulation No. 44, 04 series of
amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats. A correct
fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has declared in the vehicle handbook that the vehicle
is capable of accepting a"Universal"child restraint for this age group.
• This child restraint has been classified as "Universal" under more stringent conditions than
those which applied to earlier designs which do not carry this notice.
• If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
• Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3 point with retractor safety-belts,
approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.

INTENDED USE

• Child restraints raise the child up and help to position the vehicle lap and shoulder belt
correctly. When the child is properly restrained in a child restraint, his/her risk of injury in all
types of crashes is reduced, as the lap and shoulder belt provides excellent restraint of both
the upper and lower torsos.
• The child restraint is designed for forward-facing position only.

• This appliance is only intended for private use and is not suitable for professional operation.
• This child restraint is not for use in homes, airplanes, boats, on a motorcycle, or in any other
non-specified applications or environments.
• The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper usage or
incorrect operation or non-compliance with this manual.

GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

1. Read all instructions before use of this child restraint. In addition, read the vehicle owner's
manual for information on child restraint installation. If there is a conflict between the
two, the vehicle owner's manual regarding child restraint installation must be followed.
2. Failure to follow installation instructions can result in the child striking the vehicle's
interior during a sudden stop or crash. Serious injury or death may result.
3. NEVER leave your child unattended. A child's safety is your responsibility.
4. DO NOT allow anyone who has not read the instructions to install or use this child
restraint. Installation in the vehicle and securing the child in the child restraint to be done
only by adult!
5. DO NOT use this child restraint if it is damaged, broken, or missing parts.
