SAFETY MEASURES
RISKS FROM HOT SURFACES
• During use, accessible parts of the appliance heat up enough to
cause burns.
• Do not allow body, clothing, or other objects other than suitable
cookware to contact the glass before the surface cools.
• Metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be
placed on the surface of the cooktop as they can become hot.
• Handles may be hot to the touch. Make sure that they do not hang
over other working cooking zones. Do not allow children to touch
the cookware on the cooktop.
• Failure to follow these guidelines may result in burns.
ATTENTION! The appliance and its accessible parts become very
hot during use.
• Never leave a working appliance unattended.
• Boiling up of liquid, overflow of fat products to the surface of the
appliance may cause smoke or fire.
• Never use the appliance as a surface for work or storage.
• Never leave any objects or cookware on the appliance.
• Never use the appliance as a room heater.
• After use, always turn off the cooktop as described in this manual (i.e.
using the control panel).
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance, climb on the
appliance, sit or stand on it.
