10. Mounting the hood
!
Install the device with at least two
persons!
• Position the suspension plate on
the ceiling, if desired with the round
cut-out on the exhaust opening, mark
the position of the screw holes and
drill the holes according to the fixing
screws. These depend on the type of
ceiling (see next step).
• Secure the suspension plate to the
ceiling by tightening it with 7
M5 screws or to a concrete ceiling
with 4 dowel screws.
• Then use 8 M5 screws to connect the
suspension plate to the angle rods.
• Extend the angle rods to the desired
height and fix them with 16 M5 screws
and nuts.
Important: The overlap length must
be at least 100 mm.
• If your cooker hood is to be used in
exhaust mode, run the exhaust hose
through the round cut-out in the
suspension plate and lead it into the
exhaust pipe.
• Fasten the inner part of the chimney
to the suspension plate using 4
M4 mounting screws.
