Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep it in a safe place for futu-
re reference.
INSTRUCTION for safe operation
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards invo-
lved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years
and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• The device must be disconnected from the mains if left unattended and prior to assembly, disassem-
bly or cleaning.
• If the power cable of this device should become damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer' s
customer service department.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
Ask for installer for advice.
USING YOUR CURLING IRON
PREPARING FOR USE
1. R emove all packaging and keep safe until satisfied with your product.
2. DO NOT plug the power cord into outlet until ready to use.
3. Ensure that the hair is dry and tangle free before use.
USAGE
IMPORTANT: THIS IS A HIGH TEMPERATURE PRODUCT. It is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
1. P lace the curling iron on its "safety stand" making sure that
the surface is flat and heat resistant. This appliance will heat
up quickly so be careful when handling it.
2. S witch on and allow 10-15 minutes for it to reach the ideal
styling temperature.
