Only service personnel using special tools may replace a damaged cord.
7. We strongly advise against using other accessories not included with the appliance.
8. Make sure that the cord, or extension cord if necessary, is placed where no one can stumble over it
and away from hot surfaces.
9. Remove the accessories prior to cleaning.
10.Do not place the mixer near heat sources.
PLEASE NOTE:
When attaching the small and large drive-box, turn firmly until you feel a click to ensure the box is
properly fitted to the appliance.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE-neutral
BROWN-LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour mar-
kings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
NEITHER CORE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked with the
letter E or or coloured green and yellow.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is
used a 5 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.
