Clean the container with hot water and a bit of deter-
gent prior to first use. Wipe the parts dry with a cloth.
Do not immerse electrical components under water!
Never use the food steamer without Lid, otherwise hot
water splashes out of the appliance.
Make sure that the steam outlet is not blocked or cove-
red, as this can lead to a dangerous overpressure in the
device otherwise.
Since the steam that comes out of the steam outlet, is
very hot, make sure that you hold no body parts such as
hands and face over the steam outlet, as this can lead to
serious burns by the hot steam.
Beware of the hot steam that comes out of the food
steamer during steaming or when you remove the lid.
When you check food, always use kitchen utensils with
long handles.
The lid can collect hot water. To avoid burns please never
hold or put your hand or other body parts under the lid.
After operation, the pots and the lid are very hot, wait un-
til the parts have cooled down before removing parts for
cleaning or moving the unit.
