4.2 Information on symbols, pictograms

The following designations and symbols are used to indicate the danger areas:

Warning - danger area!
This symbol indicates that failure to observe safety
precautions is dangerous.
Warning - dangerous electrical voltage!
Electrical current poses a danger here.
Work on electrical fittings may only be carried out
by an authorised electrician
Warning - risk of hand injuries!
There is the risk that hands may be crushed, jam-
med or otherwise injured.
Warning - danger from battery acid!
There is the risk that chemical burns may result
from leaking battery acid or battery acid fumes
may be inhaled

A procedure of special interest or importance must
be observed here.
