Before starting the equipment
Check the tool each time before you use it. If any
flaw is visible, take the tool to qualified personnel
to fix it. Do not open the tool.
When using the grinder always wear
safety goggles!
During the functioning, the level of
noise can reach 95dB - wear ear
protection!
Do not use abrasive discs with a maximum speed
lower than the tool's speed; they can break and
cause accidents.
Make sure that the protective case is correctly
fitted and that the screws are well tighten. Before
fixing the screws, switch off the tool and unplug it.
To mount the disc, put the internal flange on the
drive shaft and then the disc. Insert the external
flange on the drive shaft and adapt its position to
the type of disc you are inserting – for abrasive
disc the flange should be inserted with the higher
part facing towards the disk; for cutting discs, the
flange should be inserted with the flat side
pointing towards the wheel.
Press the spindle lock button and set the flange.
Operation
Check that the voltage is the one indicated in the
specifications of the product (tools with
230V or 240V can also be used with 220V).
Avoid working in those situation in which the
grinder's disc can cut hidden electrical wires or
even the cord of the tool. Cutting those wires
increases the risk of an electric shock.
To turn on the tool press the on/off switch. For
continuous use you can press the lock button.
Hold firmly the tool in your hands to control the
recoil.
It is necessary to use the auxiliary handle to have
maximum control over the tool.
When the disc touches metallic surfaces sparks will
be produced.
While using the tool always maintain a 15° angle
between the disc and work surface. This way you
get best results and avoid overheating the tool
which can cause the motor to deteriorate.
Do not try to increase the speed by increasing the
pressure on the tool. You get best result by
applying light pressure on the grinder.
After switching off the tool, make sure that the
motor and the mobile parts have come to a full
stop.
Cleaning and maintenance
Keep the case clean. Wipe the tool with clean
cloth. Make sure no liquid gets inside the tool and
that the cooling vents are not blocked. We
recommend cleaning the tool after each use.
