DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS

The product is designed as a radiator thermostat to regulate a
standard radiator valve and is used to control single radiators
or the temperature in closed rooms. This product replaces
mechanical radiator thermostats. Through pre-programmed or
individually set heating and energy saving periods, the room
temperature can be regulated. The programming of the wireless
thermostat can be carried out directly on the device or via
smartphone or tablet through the downloaded app. To control
with the app, the Smart Friends Box is required (not included in
delivery).
The product fits on standard valves (thread M 30 x 1.5 mm). For
radiator valves from the Company Danfoss, a supplier adapter
is required (see adapter list). Interference into the heating water
circuit or discharging water is not necessary!
The product has an anti-freeze as well as anti-calcification func-
tion. Both functions are active without special programming.
The anti-freeze function prevents the radiator from freezing by
opening the valve at a temperature below 6° C and will remain
open until it rises to about 8°C.
The calcification of the radiator valve is prevented through the
once a week preformed anti-calcification (for example, Friday
morning).
