SUGGESTIONS
To avoid condensate being produced on the board, wait for at least 10 minutes before you start to iron.
IRONING WITH BLOWING FUNCTION
The blowing funcvon swells garments making ironing easier and without producing creases.
If you wish to use the blowing funcvon, press the switch (20) on posivon (II).
The best results are achieved when this funcvon is used to iron light fabrics (silk).
IRONING WITH SUCTION FUNCTION
The steam sucvon funcvon takes moisture out of garments drying them perfectly.
If you wish to iron with the sucvon funcvon, press the switch (20) on posivon (I).
The best results with this funcvon are obtained when ironing heavy fabrics (coŽon, linen, wool).
VERTICAL IRONING
This appliance can also iron in a vervcal posivon; this makes steam spread more even and allows to refresh garments quickly.
- Set the iron thermostat control (3) as far as it will go (LINEN).
- Hang the item of clothing on a hanger and hold it lightly in one hand.
- Pass the iron downwards, pressing the steam buŽon.
Important: With coŽon and linen it is recommended that the iron touches the material. With other materials, it is recommended
there should be a few cenvmeters distance.
CLEANING AND SERVICING
It is normal for scale to build up when using an ironing system. We therefore recommend cleaning the boiler when the maintenance
light comes on (whether fixed or blinking) to ensure that your appliance convnues to give full savsfacvon.
CAUTION: convnuing to iron with the maintenance light on (fixed light) could damage the system. Clean the boiler as soon as possi-
ble!
The maintenance program for your appliance envisages 2 different levels of work:
AUTOMATIC
The maintenance light comes on according to an average vme of use of your appliance and a standard degree of hardness of the
water set by the Manufacturer. The user should not carry out any adjustments.
CUSTOMISED
The user may adjust the sensivvity of the appliance according to the hardness of the water, which can be checked with the relavve
measuring test svck provided (see secvon WATER HARDNESS). A•er having checked the degree of hardness of the water, to select
the CUSTOMIZED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM, proceed as follows:
CUSTOMIZED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM — APPLIANCE RESET
•
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
•
With the reset buŽon pressed, put the general switch to ON.
•
The following indicator lights start to blink simultaneously:
- No water
- Maintenance
- Steam reset
•
Release the reset buŽon (27) and press it again within a 5 seconds.
It is now possible to proceed with memorizing the hardness of the water.
