6. Storage

• Turn off the main switch/key.
• Store in a dry place, particularly important for the battery (below 25°C).
• Extend the battery life by charging daily.

7. Battery and battery box

• Rocker arm for removing/installing the battery.
• Push the battery all the way into the battery box for contact.
• Turn the key to lock the battery in place. The battery cannot be removed in the ON or OFF
positions.
The key can be removed in the OFF position.
• Activate the battery indicator by pushing the round spot.
• When battery level is below 20%, recharge completely.
• When battery level is below 20%, the battery charger may have diffi culty recharging.
• If the battery charger cannot recharge the battery, the battery much be depth charged by
means of a special charger (contact Baron A/S).
• Interrupting charging will not reduce the battery's service life.
• Charged batteries must not be turned upside down.
• The battery must not be disassembled, punctured, or subjected to other mechanical damage.
• The battery must not be exposed to high temperatures (heaters/fire).
• Avoid moisture penetration.
• In case of misuse, liquid can leak out of the battery. Battery fl uid can cause skin irritation or
burns.
