Installing a gear actuator onto the the butterfly valve DN65 to DN125
1. Turn gear actuator and butterfly valve to closed position
ATTENTION: Yellow arrow points towards the axis of the handwheel
2. Plug insert with the flat wing upwards into the groove of the gear (pointing towards handwheel)
3. Align square of the insert with the shaft
4. Put gear actuator on the valve
ATTENTION: Position indicator must point towards the 0° position on the cover plate when the
valve is closed.
5. Open the handwheel until the four threaded holes of the gear are aligned with the four holes of the cover
plate and body.
6. After aligning the gear actuator, connect it to the body and cover plate with the tooth wheel and
hexagon screws from below.
ATTENTION: End positions have to be set up with screws located on the side of the gear
housing (under black caps).
7. Attach the four black caps
