Use
Do not use machine before it work mode
and applications have been understood.
To guarantee safe and effective work the
operating instructions must be followed in
every respect.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces
such as pipes, radiators, cookers and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if your body is earthed.
Do not use the machine for anything other
than its intended purpose, otherwise there
is a risk of mechanical failure, or serious
personal injury and material damage.
Never use the power cord to carry or hang
up the machine, and do not hold the cord
when unplugging the plug. Keep the
power cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges and moving machine parts.
Damaged or tangled power cords increase
the risk of electric shock.
Do not use the machine in explosive
environments, such as in the vicinity of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power
tools produce sparks that can ignite dust
and fumes.
Pay careful attention to the surroundings
when using the machine.
Small stones and other objects in the
snow can be thrown up and cause
personal injury.
Switch off the machine an unplug the
plug in the following situations:
If the machine is not in use, for
example during repairs, removal of
parts, cleaning and maintenance, or
other situations where safety is at risk.
Unplug a defective power cord from
the mains supply.
Never carry a connected machine, unplug
it from the mains first.
Do not start the machine unintentionally,
or by mistake. To prevent potential
damage do not allow the power cord to
be connected or the power switch pressed
when the machine is to be moved.
Do not remove dirt with your hands. Switch
off the machine before removing debris.
Do not go in front of the machine when it
is running. Do not aim snow at onlookers.
When working with the machine keep a
firm grip on the handles with both hands.
Use personal safety equipment. Always wear
safety glasses. If you use personal safety
equipment such as non-slip safety shoes,
safety helmet or ear protection (depending
on how the power tool is used), this will
reduce the risk of personal injury.
If a guard or some other part has been
damaged, carefully check before using the
machine that it will work properly and as
intended.
Check that moving parts function correctly
and do not jam, and that no parts are
damaged. All parts must be fitted
correctly and satisfy all the applicable
requirements to ensure that the machine
works properly.
A damaged power switch must be replaced
by an authorised service centre. Do not use
the machine if it cannot be switched on
and off with the power switch.
Keep the machine properly maintained.
Check that moving parts are working
properly and do not jam, and that no
parts are defective or damaged. Check for
other factors that could affect the
functionality of the machine. Damaged
parts must be repaired before using the
machine again. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained power tools.
