For the mounting on the socket you need the original backplate of the mainboard.
•
Attach the cooler to the socket as shown. Tighten the screws crosswise hand-tight.
•
Make sure that the window is facing upwards (or that the Alphacool logo can be read
from the front). This design ensures that the pump does not run dry.
