Problem
Boat tends to turn in
only one direction.
Rudder does not move.
Controls reversed.
Motor or ESC overheats. Blocked water cooler tubes.
Motor power pulses
then motor loses power.
Boat does not link to
transmitter after
binding.
Boat doesn`t respond
to throttle but to other
controls.

Possible Cause
Rudder or rudder trims are not
centered.
Vertical fins of trim tabs are
angled incorrectly.
Damaged Rudder, linkage or
servo.
Wire is damaged or connections
are loose.
Transmitter is not bound correctly
or the incorrect boat was selected
BEC of ESC is damaged.
ESC is off.
Transmitter settings are reversed. Do Control Direction Test and
ESC uses default soft Low Voltage
Cut Off (LVC).
Weather conditions are too cold.
Battery is old/damaged/worn out
Battery crating is too small.
Transmitter is too near to the boat
during linking process.
Boat or transmitter is too close to
a large metal object.
Boat or transmitter battery
charge is too low.
Transmitter is bound to a
different boat.
ESC is switched off.
Throttle servo travel is lower than
100%.
Throttle channel is reversed.
Solution
Repair rudder or adjust rudder
and rudder trims for straight
running while the control is at
a neutral position.
Angle the fins a small amount
to the right or left so that the
boat goes straight when the
rudder is at a neutral position.
Replace damaged parts and
adjust the transmitter.
Check them (connect or
replace when needed)
Rebind or select correct boat.
Replace ESC.
Switch on ESC.
adjust controls appropriately.
Clean or replace water tubes.
Do Control Direction Test and
adjust controls appropriately.
Postpone until wheater is
warmer.
Replace the battery.
Use the recommended battery.
Move powered transmitter a
few feet away, disconnect and
reconnect the battery.
Move boat or transmitter away
from the large metal object.
Replace/Charge the battery.
Bind your boat to the
transmitter.
Switch ESC on.
Make sure throttle channel is
more than 100%.
Reverse throttle channel.
