You have purchased a product, which is designed, manufactured, assembled and
tested in Germany.
Please read the manual carefully before installing your freeQENCE on your bike.
Safety instructions:
- Before every ride you should make sure that all of the components are properly
tightened.
- Before and after ride, check to see whether any of the components are damaged
and that everything is still intact. If problems arise, the components should no
longer be used. If you are in doubt, please see your local bicycle dealer.
- Follow the instructions for installing the components on the bicycle.
- Using the freeQENCE can affect a bicycle's handling characteristics. Following
installation, practice using freeQENCE at low speed in a safe area to get used to
the bicycle's responsiveness and steering.
- The components are only to be used according to their stated purpose.
- Only use original replacement parts.
- Do not change or modify the components.
- We recommend having any components maintained by a specialist.
- Do not clean the components with high-pressure power washers.
- If there is any damage or indication of damage, then the components cannot be
used. If there is any doubt, please go to your local specialist dealer.
- Always use a torque wrench when installing or adjusting fasteners, and always
tighten to freeQENCE torque specifications (or bike manufacturer's torque
specification).
- Periodically check all fasteners for tightness using a torque
wrench, since fasteners can loosen under the influence of road vibration.
