Mounting instructions

The customer must ensure that the baggage is securely and rigidly fastened
before each journey. Loosening or shaking in both horizontal and vertical
directions must be avoided.
When attaching the side case, make sure that all vehicle functions remain
unrestricted:
- Avoiding contact of the luggage with moving or hot parts in any state of
the suspension
- Ensuring unrestricted visibility of lighting devices and license plates
- Even distribution of the weight in the luggage and on the vehicle
Before driving, check all parts and connections loosened during assembly
and perform a vehicle function check.
During a trip, check every 200 km if the side case is securely fastened to the
vehicle and if the zipper is properly closed.

Please take enough time for a good preparation of the baggage and read the following
product and assembly instructions carefully.
Motea GmbH accepts no liability for damage to property or personal injury resulting from
improper or defective assembly or use.
This product is a universal baggage. Therefore it is necessary to ensure that the side case can
be used properly on your motorcycle model before using it for the first time.
Observe all instructions in the vehicle manual that are relevant for the fastening and the
country-specific restrictions imposed by the legislator.

Take into account that luggage on the vehicle influences the driving
and braking behavior and adjust your driving style accordingly to the
changed conditions.

Maintenance instructions

To extend the service life of the luggage, it must be regularly cleaned
of dust and dirt. Especially after trips in winter, this is absolutely
necessary to avoid damage caused by de-icing salt.
Depending on the material of the luggage, use a soft textile brush, a
damp cloth or sponge and soapy water for cleaning. Do not use harsh
detergents or rough cleaning utensils and avoid complete immersion
of the luggage.
Allow the product to air dry completely before reuse. Avoid direct
sunlight during this process.
