RS-485 Set
If you confirm this menu item, another submenu opens.
Baud Rate
Use the –/+ keys (10) and (11) to set the baud rate. For more details on the required baud rate,
refer to the description of your dome camera.
ID
Use the –/+ keys (10) and (11) to enter the ID number of your digital recorder.
Protocol
The 16-channel digital recorder supports 7 programmed dome camera protocols.
Use the –/+ keys (10) and (11) to select the correct protocol.
All connected dome cameras must be controlled via the same protocol.
Set Camera RS-485
Proceed as follows to set up the dome camera:
1. Confirm this menu item with Enter (C).
A submenu shows a selection of the 16 camera inputs.
2. With the direction keys, select a camera input and confirm your selection with Enter (C).
3. With the –/+ keys (10 and 11), select the ID according to the camera ID.
4. Use the –/+ keys (10) and (11) to enable the RS-485 control properties.

5. Exit the menu via ESC (12) and set the other camera inputs in the same way.
6. To exit this menu item, press ESC (12).
To exit this submenu item, press ESC (12) again.
means that the control function is enabled.
