As an alternative, the connecting box can also be mounted through the holes (3) on a 60
mm-flush-mounting box. The corresponding screws are not part of the scope of supply.
Connect the presence detector as shown in the circuit diagram of figs. F-I.
Install the presence detector on the base without exerting pressure on the lens.

Turn the presence detector slowly until
the screws (4) come to lie above the
fastening studs (5) (fig.E).
When this position is reached, the
detector snaps in place. Tighten the
screws (4) .
Connect the presence detector as
shown in the circuit diagram (fig.F).
As device protection, use a circuit
breaker (max. 10 A) as provided for by
the local regulations
(BK) black : L (phase)
(BU) blue : N (neutral)
(BR) brown : (switched phase,
relay contact)
(GY) grey : 1 extension
(pushbutton)
Important:
• The pushbutton (n.o. contact), the
lighting can be switched on or off. (see
chapter on use of extension units).
• Illuminated pushbuttons must have a
separate N terminal.
• The length of the load line must not

exceed 100 m including all connecting
lines between presence detectors and
lamps (fig. G).
6. Parallel connection of
presence detectors
To enlarge the field of detection, several

presence detectors can be connected in
parallel.
Important:
• Do not connect more than 5 presence
detectors in parallel.
• All presence detectors connected in
parallel must be connected to the
same phase (fig. H)
• Connecting presence detectors in pa-
rallel does not lead to an increase of
the max. connected load rating.
• The pushbutton must be connected

to all presence detectors in parallel.
Extension operation is otherwise not
possible (see use of extension units,
page 47)
• Maximum length of load line = 100 m
