Before using your appliance
for the first time
■ Move locking slides to D.
■ Insert the power cord of the contact grill
into the socket.
■ Open the appliance.
■ Turn rotary knob to the highest setting
and heat up appliance without any food
at least 3x in a well ventilated room
(open window), then leave to cool down.
■ When using for the first time, a slight
odor and a little smoke may appear
during the first few minutes of use.
This is not a threat nor any evidence of
malfunction of the product. In this case
open the window and ventilate the room
until there is no more smoke or odor.
■ Fig. 3: Remove grill plates, wash and
dry. Lubricate the coated surface with a
little cooking oil.
■ Fig. 4: When inserting the grill plates,
ensure that the lugs are inserted into the
plate locks at the back and that the plate
holders are engaged.
