3.2 Contraindications

Contraindications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture. Under consideration of the safety information (see
item 2), the product may not be used if the patient has any of the following conditions:
All diagnoses where the patient is not permitted to apply any weight to the lower extremities

Low stability in both knee joints  only possible with leg belt! (PM-3005)


User not standing firmly  Risk of falling

The movement is performed surprisingly or too quickly  risk of falling and impact particularly in

the case of anxious patients, attention must be paid to the patient and his condition
Patient has insufficient stability  Risk of falling


The Turning Disc is used to aid a transfer.
Place the Turning Disc under the patient's feet

The patient's feet must be positioned fully and symmetrically on the Turning Disc.

To secure and assist the turning movement, the user places one foot on the Turning Disc.

Depending on the clinical picture, the user supports the patient's forward weight transfer or mobilises

patient to standing.
Additional aids are required/used as necessary.

Execute the turning movement.

Sit the patient down.

