Before opening the lid (D), wait until the blade (C) has
stopped rotating completely.

Unplug the appliance before emptying the ground coffee.
Blender jug (model A518 only)
-
Before using for the first time, fill the blender with hot water up
to the MAX level (0.5l) marked on the blender jug (F) and
operate the appliance for a few seconds as described below.

Place the motor unit (A) onto a flat stable, heat-resistant,
clean and dry work surface.

Fit the blender jug (F) onto the motor unit and lock it in place
(see drawing).

Place the ingredients into the blender jug (F).

Fit the lid (G) with its measuring cap (H) onto the blender
jug (F) and lock it in place (see drawing).

Plug the motor unit (A) into a mains socket.
-
Hold the lid (G) one hand and press the ON/OFF button (E)
with the other to blend the ingredients.

Unplug the appliance and remove the blender jug (F) from the
motor unit (A) before emptying the mixture using the
pouring spout.

Do not operate the blender for more than 30 seconds at a
time.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
-
Your grinder can grind up to 70g of coffee in 30 seconds
(models A505 and A518).
-
The blender jug (A518 only) can blend and purée fruits and
vegetables. It can also be used to mix, knead or emulsify
sauces and make drinks and mayonnaises.

The blender jug (F) is not suitable for whisking egg whites,
making mashed potato or mincing meat.
-
The cover (H) in the centre of the lid (G) is for adding oil
gradually when making mayonnaise.

Do not fill above the maximum level (0.5l) shown on the
blender jug (F).

Do not operate when empty or with hard ingredients, always
add milk, water, etc. according to the recipe. Juicy fruits and
vegetables may be blended without adding liquids.
