5.3.2 Assembly of the bypass magnetic switch using tightening strap
1. Open the tightening strap by loosening the fastening screw.
2. Push the tightening strap through the opening of the magnetic switch.
3. Affix the tightening strap and magnetic switch to the bypass pipe and
tighten with the fastening screw so that pushing the magnetic switch is
still possible.
4. Push the magnetic switch to the height of the desired switching point and
fasten by tightening the screws (the switching point is specified).
Note!
1. During assembly please make sure that the cable entry points down-
wards. In order to ensure safe switching function the magnetic switch
housing must abut on the bypass pipe
2. The magnetic switches only operate in the area between the process
connections and the bypass level indicators. If a switching point outside
of this area is set safe functioning cannot be guaranteed.

The BGU-AL and BGU-AM magnetic switches are fas-
tened using 2 tightening straps
The electrical connection must be executed in accord-
ance with the safety provisions for installation of electrical
systems applicable in the country of installation and may
only be completed by qualified personnel.
