3.2 Proper intended use

The Bypass magnetic switches are solely intended for monitoring the liquid
level of fluids. The area of use is based on the technical performance limits
and materials.

The operating conditions specified in the operating instructions
must be observed.

Do not operate the device in the immediate vicinity of ferromag-
netic surroundings (distance min. 50 mm).

Do not operate the device in the immediate vicinity of strong elec-
tromagnetic fields, or in the immediate vicinity of equipment which
can be influenced by magnetic fields (distance min. 1 m).

The bypass magnetic switches may not be subjected to any strong
mechanical loads (impact, twisting, vibrations). The device is de-
signed and constructed solely for its intended purpose described
here and may only be used accordingly.

These operating instructions are geared towards qualified profes-
sionals who will execute the installation and the set up.

The current safety guidelines must be observed for its use.

The technical specifications in these operating instructions must be
observed. Improper handling or operation of the device outside the
technical specifications makes careful shut-down and monitoring
by an authorised KSR or WIKA service employee.
