Children between the age of
3 and 8 are only allowed to
switch the device on or off if
they are supervised or given
instructions on safe use and un-
derstand the hazards involved,
provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intend-
ed normal operating position.
Children between the ages of 3
and 8 shall not plug in, regulate,
clean the heater or perform user
maintenance.


KEEP OUT OF THE
REACH OF CHILDREN.
Ingestion may cause chemical
burns, perforation of soft tissue
and death. Severe burns may
occur within two hours after in-
gestion. Seek medical advice im-
mediately.
Incorrect handling of batteries
can cause fire, explosion, leak-
age of hazardous substances
and other hazardous situations!
Do not throw batteries into fire

and do not expose them to high
temperatures.
Do not open, deform or short-

circuit batteries, as chemicals
contained in them may leak.
Do not attempt to recharge bat-

teries. Only batteries marked as
"rechargeable" may be rechar-
ged. Danger of explosion!
Check batteries regularly. Lea-

king chemicals can cause per-
manent damage to the device.
Take special care when hand-
ling with damaged or leaking
batteries. Danger of chemical
burn! Wear protective gloves.
Chemicals that leak from a bat-

tery can cause skin irritation.
In the event of contact with the skin,

rinse with plenty of water. If chemi-
cals have come into contact with
the eyes, rinse them thoroughly
with water, do not rub them and
consult a doctor immediately.
Different types of batteries or

rechargeable batteries must
not be used together.
Always insert batteries with the

correct polarity, otherwise they
may burst.
Remove the batteries from the
Q
device if you are not going to
use it for a long time. This does
not apply if the device is inten-
ded for emergency use.
