10. Troubleshooting

Malfunctions
IMPULSE is not running
and LEDs are not
flashing
No lubrication!
App: Connection to
IMPULSE is not possible
or a connection error
is shown.
Red LEDs flash 1×
No lubrication!
App error message:
"Dispenser almost
empty"
Red LEDs flash 2×
App error message:
"Battery power low"
or
App error message:
"Battery charge low −
No new battery pack
fitted"
Red LEDs flash 3×
App error message:
"System pressure too
high (>10 bar)"
Possible cause
No battery pack inserted
or battery pack is
completely empty.
simalube lubricator is
almost empty.
simalube gas generator
was not activated.
A long dispensing time
or low temperature
delays the simalube's
start.
At start-up:
Empty battery pack or
used battery pack in
used.
In operation: the battery
charge is slowly running
out or too low.
Working pressure
>10 bar. Problem at
the lubrication point
or in the line.

Measures
Insert new battery pack
(see p. 17, ch. 7).
Replace the lubricator
(see p. 17, ch. 7).
Set gas generator to the
desired dispensing time
(1–12 months).
Set gas generator to a dis-
pensing time of 1 month for
1 day until the device starts
up, then set it to the desired
dispensing time; otherwise
replace the lubricator.
Insert new battery pack.
The device continues to
operate, but safe operation
is not guaranteed. It is
recommended to change
the dispenser (see p. 17,
ch. 7).
The device still works, the
pressure is too high, proper
functioning is not ensured.
Check lubrication point.
