Installation and operating manual PIN-Box S7
A. General.
1.
Lock: The key must be turned toward the right (more than one turn) until the safe
opens.
2.
Types of car keys accepted: All types of keys, even bunch of keys can be hung in the
safe for distribution. However, the two extreme left positions do not accept bunch of keys
or keys attached to leather pouches (danger of being retained on the slide).
3.
Automatic function testing: The safe goes into self-test every three minutes.
4.
Protection against malevolent attempts to obtain keys: Repeated selection of wrong
codes results in delays before a new code may be entered. The delays increase (up to
eight minutes) at every wrong code which is entered. The display shows "Wait please".
B. Installation:
1.
Install the safe where it is protected from the rain and in the shade. This will make the
reading of the digital message display easier during daylight. Choose an absolutely flat
location on a wall or a door.
2.
Drill the 8 mm holes in the wall according to the plan supplied with the safe.
3.
Proceed with the installation of the safe as well as the electrical connection to the power
supply (12 VDC).
4.
Central workshop alarm connection (optional): The terminals are situated on the
underside of the electronic enclosure, bellow the door switch. The terminals are
accessible through an opening.
C. Programming of key restitution codes
Note: The opening of the safe door automatically switches the software into the
programming mode.

The following message appears on the display:

digit has been entered, the displays changes as follows:

The number 9 represents the first digit of the new code. The new code will only be
memorized after the "OK" key has been selected on the keypad. Any selection error can
be corrected by selecting the "C" key, but only as long as the "OK" key has not been
selected.
5.
As soon as the "OK" key has been selected the new code appears on the display for a
short time as follows:
6.
If this code already exists for another key position, the following message appears:
