Functional description

The valve block (4) is screwed directly onto the compressed air
cylinder (1). The compressed air cylinder contains compressed
breathing air. Apply a DC voltage of 12 V DC to trigger the actuating
unit (3) once to release the fresh air supply.
A pressure gauge (2) is screwed into the casing of the valve block. The
pressure gauge continuously displays the current cylinder pressure.
A pressure reducer (5) is also screwed into the casing of the valve
block. The pressure reducer reduces the pressure to approx. 8-10 bar.
The pressure reducer is equipped with a pressure relief valve. It is
possible to convey the fresh air into the vehicle cab via a hose.

Intended use

The fresh air system for vehicles with special protection is designed for
use in safety vehicles with cabins that are sealed accordingly. The
fresh air system temporarily provides the vehicle with breathing air and
can therefore establish a protective positive pressure in the cabin as
compared to the ambient conditions.
This positive pressure can be used to protect against particulate and
gaseous substances in the ambient atmosphere that could penetrate
the vehicle cab.
