Pairing If Used With Other Devices; The Pairing; Deleting Old Pairing - AKE PB-HC2 Bedienungsanleitung

Please note, when using Bluetooth to the helmet the "Power-Off-Automatic"
of the PowerCom system has to be disabled, for details please refer to the
PowerCom operating instructions. When operating with an internal Bluetooth
Gateway for the driver, the additional helmet cable for the driver "D", if any,
will only be used for communication with the pillion.

Pairing if used with other devices

If the devices are already paired, you can ignore the following two
chapters.

The pairing

The AKE Bluetooth Gateway (Bluetooth helmet connector or PowerCom
system with integrated Bluetooth-to-helmet) will automatically go into
pairing mode when switching on. This can be seen at the alternately flashing
of the control LEDs.
Hold your Bluetooth helmet or helmet set close to the AKE Bluetooth
Gateways and make sure that no other Bluetooth device in the area is ready
for pairing. Now promptly get your Bluetooth helmet or your Bluetooth
Helmet Set also into pairing mode. After a successful pairing you will hear a
short confirmation signal in the paired helmet and the LEDs stop flashing
alternately.

Deleting old pairing

We recommend to generally delete old pairings! Bring the respective AKE
Bluetooth Gateway into pairing mode by turning it off and on with the
Bluetooth control button. Hold down the button for approx. 10 sec. when
switching on. In pairing mode, now shortly press the control button twice. A
short switching of the LEDs and a control signal indicate that all pairings are
deleted. Then switch the Bluetooth Gateway off and on again. The now
empty Bluetooth Gateway will again automatically go into pairing mode.
At the PowerCom system the PTT button of the PowerCom operating device
(VOX switch on ON) or a separate button are used as Bluetooth control
button.
Adjusting the microphone sensitivity
For that purpose the used motorbike intercom system should already be
adjusted properly. For more details please refer to the operating instruc-
tions of your intercom system system.
