Intercom mode in combination with other devices

Both Stealth Bluetooth Helmet Sets NG can, additionally to the intercom, be individu-
ally connected to a mobile phone or GPS, also to a MP3 or another audio gateway
(e.g. BMW-AG). Alternatively, each can be connected to a smartphone.
During navigation announcements or pone conversations the intercom connection
to the second helmet is blocked. After ending the phone call or navigation
announcement the intercom will automatically be reconnected. A control signal
indicates that the intercom is activated again.
At some Nokia phones it is necessary to switch from intercom mode to phone mode
to dial on phone keys. Please shortly press the multi functional button once.
If connected to a MP3, etc. via A2DP , the music is transmitted to the respective paired
device. To listen to the music, the intercom has to be interrupted by shortly pressing the
multi functional button. Both intercom partner can always go back to intercom mode
by pressing the multi functional button again.
When having a triple connection (HFP , A2DP and intercom) it is possible, depending
on type and utilization rate of the Bluetooth devices, to get occasional interruptions
after switching from HFP to A2DP (phone or GPS to music). This problem can usually
be solved by shortly switching to intercom and back.
If the same phone / GPS is paired with both intercom partners, operation problems

Communication from vehicle to vehicle

The specially for helmets developed systems are operating with low radiation and
therefore cause no health hazards but still provide a range of up to 250m (free field).
