• Do not leave packaging within the reach of children or differently able persons.
• Do not sit on the appliance or rest objects on it.
• Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.
• Pay special attention when using it in rooms that are not manned.
• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If any faults are found, do not operate the appliance but
contact VORTICE immediately.
• VORTICE cannot assume any responsibility for damage to property or personal injury resulting from failure to
abide by the instructions given in this booklet.
• Before carrying out any type of cleaning or maintenance operation, turn the appliance off and turn the main power
switch off to disconnect it from the power supply.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy blow, have it checked immediately by VORTICE.
• If the appliance does not function correctly or develops a fault, turn it off and contact VORTICE immediately.
• Ensure that only genuine original VORTICE spares are used for any repairs. If the power supply cable is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorized VORTICE T echnical Assistance Center, in order to
prevent any risk.
• Switch off the appliance at the main switch: a) if the appliance does not function correctly; b) before cleaning the
outside of the appliance, c) if the appliance is not to be used for long periods of time.
• The light source contained in this appliance must only be replaced by the manufacturer or its assistance service
or by equally qualified personnel
• It is not necessary to make any specific adjustments since the devices operate at nominal frequencies without a
preliminary setting.

Photobiological safety

The device complies with EN 62471:2006 on the photobiological safety of lamps.
The lamp belongs to risk group 3 and should not be used for general
lighting.
