TIPS & TRICKS
Pepper mill
The mechanism of your mill has been specially
designed to get the very best from your black,
white, green and red pepper-and pink peppercorns
(if they are mixed to a maximum of 15% with one
of these peppers) It also works for Sichuan pepper
and coriander seeds. Do not use your mill for any
other spices and for salt.
Salt mill
The mechanism of your mill has been specially
designed to get the very best from your rock salts
(white, pink or blue). Only use your mill for these
dry salts.
• Never leave spent batteries in the mill.
• Remove the batteries from the device if the mill is
not going to be used for a long period.
• Always replace spent batteries with 6 new
identical (same brand) alkaline batteries, type
AAA/LR03.
The following are examples of actions that must be
avoided, as they may cause battery leakage:
• Mill not used, stored for several months.
• Expiry date for batteries passed.
• Use of spent batteries.
• Exposure to a heat source.
In the event of a leaking battery, for your safety
please wear gloves to remove the batteries.

• Never put the mill into a liquid and never put it
into a dishwasher.

• Do not use the mill with wet hands.
• No product or detergent may be used for main-
tenance of your mill.
• Be careful to clean it regularly with a soft cloth
(never clean by dishwasher).
• Do not place it close to a heat source.
• Keep it away from light and moisture.
