INTERBUS Safety
Inline module with safe digital inputs
The module is exclusively intended for use within an INTERBUS Safety system. De-
pending on the conditions of use, it can meet Category 4 requirements in acc. with
EN 954-1, SIL 3 in acc. with EN 61508/EN 62061, and PL e in acc. with
prEN ISO 13849-1.

Before using the module, it is imperative to
read the module user manual that is valid for the revision status specified on
the module and the user manual on configuration and installation of the
Inline product family.
Ensure that you are always working with the latest valid documentation! It is
available on the Internet, at www.download.phoenixcontact.com.
– Only perform tasks on the module when it is not subjected to any voltage!
– The module may only be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with
the specifications in the corresponding documentation. Electrical work may
only be performed by qualified electricians.
– Safety from damage or personal injury is guaranteed only when the module
is used as intended.
Observe the necessary safety precautions when handling components that
are vulnerable to electrostatics (EN 61340-5-1 and EN 61340-5-2)!

Module Inline avec entrées TOR sécurisées
Ce module est uniquement prévu pour être utilisé au sein d'un système INTERBUS
Safety. Selon les conditions d'utilisation, il peut remplir les exigences de la catégorie 4
selon EN 954-1, de SIL 3 selon EN 61508/EN 62061 et de PL e selon
prEN ISO 13849-1.

Avant la mise en service du module, lire impérativement
le manuel d'utilisation correspondant, valable pour la version du module
figurant sur celui-ci et le manuel de configuration et d'installation de la
famille de produits Inline.
S'assurer de toujours travailler avec la documentation actuelle. Celle-ci est
disponible sur internet à l'adresse suivante :
www.download.phoenixcontact.fr.
– Travailler uniquement sur le module en l'absence de tension.
– Le module ne doit être installé que par du personnel spécialisé et suivant la
documentation correspondante, en respectant les instructions qu'elle con-
tient. Les travaux électriques ne doivent être réalisés que par des électri-
ciens qualifiés.
– La sécurité des personnes et des biens n'est garantie que lorsque le module
est utilisé conformément à l'usage prévu.
Observer les mesures de précaution nécessaires lors du maniement des
composants sensibles aux décharges électrostatiques (EN 61340-5-1 et
EN 61340-5-2 ainsi que CEI 61340-5-1 et CEI 61340-5-2).

Inline-Modul mit sicheren digitalen Eingängen
Das Modul ist ausschließlich zum Einsatz innerhalb eines INTERBUS-Safety-
Systems bestimmt. Es kann in Abhängigkeit von den Einsatzbedingungen die
Anforderungen entsprechend Kategorie 4 nach EN 954-1, SIL 3 nach EN 61508/
EN 62061 und PL e nach prEN ISO 13849-1 erfüllen.

Zugehörige Dokumentation
Lesen Sie vor dem Einsatz des Moduls unbedingt
das Anwenderhandbuch zum Modul, gültig für die auf dem Modul
angegebenen Revisionsstände
und das Anwenderhandbuch zur Projektierung und Installation der Produkt-
familie Inline.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie immer mit der gültigen Dokumentation arbeiten.

– Führen Sie alle Arbeiten an dem Modul im spannungslosen Zustand durch!
– Das Modul darf nur unter Beachtung der zugehörigen Dokumentation und
unter Einhaltung der darin angegebenen Vorgaben von Fachpersonal
montiert werden. Elektrische Arbeiten dürfen nur von Elektro-Fachkräften
durchgeführt werden.
– Personen- und Sachschutz sind nur gewährleistet, wenn das Modul
entsprechend seiner Bestimmung eingesetzt wird.
Beachten Sie die notwendigen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen bei der Handhabung
