This work should only be carried out by a qualified technician in accordance with local and national
safety regulations!
Before work is commenced, the machine must be disconnected from the mains.
1.
Disconnect the unit from the mains and open the machine lid.
2.
Remove the cover plate from the connection panel, Fig. 1 (1).
3.
Screw the 2 single valves to the connection panel, Fig. 1 (2).
4.
Attach the "Hard water" sticker to the connection panel below the valve, Fig. 1 (3).
5.
Connect the wiring in accordance with Fig. 2.
Wind the leads for the hard water valves out from the wiring harness. Fit the yellow (ge) lead on
to 2Y5 and the blue (bl) leads on to 1Y5 and 2Y5. See Figure 2.
6.
Disconnect the direct supply hose, Fig. 3 (2), and shorten it in accordance with Fig. 4 or Fig. 5 as
appropriate.
7.
Cut two supply hose pieces to length in accordance with Fig. 4 or Fig. 5 as appropriate.
Fit the Y-piece and the two hose pieces to the direct supply hose in accordance with Fig. 4 or Fig. 5
as appropriate and fit the combination in the machine, Fig. 3.
8.
Use a cable clip to fasten the direct supply hose to the inlet stub for the bleach dispenser
compartment, Fig. 3 (1). Similarly, loosely fasten the hoses together at point Fig. 3 (3).
9.
Disconnect the supply hose shown in Fig. 3 (4). Fit a Y-piece and make a second hose combination
in accordance with Fig. 6 or Fig. 7 as appropriate. Fit it as shown in Fig. 3.
10. Screw the branch piece to the hard water stopcock.
11 Screw the plastic unions of the supply hoses to the single valve and the metal unions to the branch
piece.
12. Carry out appropriate electrical checks and check for correct operation.
Refit the machine lid.
