TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

CLEANING THE DEVICE
Use a soft cloth to clean the device, adding a spray of
neutral detergent to the cloth if required. Do not use
alcohol, diluents, solvents or other chemical products.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
When the battery life dips below a critical level during
usage, the yellow LED (2) will start flashing to indicate
that the battery needs recharging. If you continue to use
the device, it will eventually turn off automatically.
When you insert the charger into the port, (6) the
yellow LED (2) will come on and remain on until the
battery is fully charged. It takes around 4 hours for the
battery to charge fully.
During charging, the device cannot be used for safety
reasons. Do not recharge the device while it is exposed
to direct sunlight, heat sources or steamy environments.
Only used the included VATSPA05 charger.
Both the device and the charger will get slightly
warmer during the charging process. This is normal and
not a sign of malfunctioning.
Keep the charger away from water and only handle it
with dry hands.
REMOVING THE BATTERY
The device is fitted with a lithium-ion (Li-Po) polymer
battery in the handle. The battery is rechargeable and
– if used correctly – can last for over 300 charging/
discharging cycles.
The battery cannot be removed by the user. If the
battery needs replacing, you must contact a Vupiesse-
authorized center.
The procedure set out below is only to be used to
remove the battery so that the device can be properly
disposed off after its product life is over.
