1�5 Guarantee and warranty
This DTC GmbH product was subjected to
strict inspections before sale. We assume the
legal guarantee for material or processing
defects, provided that a defect was already
demonstrably present at the time of deliv-
ery. We are not responsible for defects that
are due to improper handling or repairs.
DTC GmbH Navigation & Security Solutions
guarantees that the DTC RTK modem V1 is
free from material and processing defects
for 12 months from the time of delivery. The
warranty is subject to repair or replacement
at our discretion. Claims for damages – for
whatever legal reason – are precluded.
In the event of a warranty claim, please send
us a copy of the purchase receipt along with
the device.
Our customer service is always available to
you even after the guarantee period has
expired.
DTC GmbH does not accept any liability
for incidents that are due to non-compli-
ance with this manual, incorrect handling,
negligence, improper treatment, unau-
thorised replacement of parts and other
interventions�
2 Safety
To avoid malfunctions, damage and health
impairments, please observe the following
instructions.
2�1 Intended use
The DTC RTK modem is designed exclusively
for receiving GNSS correction data for the
RT-, Survey+ and xNAV sensors from OxTS.
2�2 Non-intended use
Any use other than that described in the sec-
tion "Intended use" is considered improper
use. The user of the device is solely responsi-
ble for any damage resulting from this.
2�3 Responsibility of the user
A user is any natural or legal person who uses
the DTC RTK Modem or gives it to third parties
for use and is responsible for the safety of the
user or third parties during use.
• Replace illegible signs
on the modem.
2�4 General safety instructions
• When using the modem, make sure that
it is fastened securely for transport to
prevent injury from flying around.
