Push the connecting wires through
the gland and connect the unit
(see type label or page 8).
The end cap position can be
straight or angled, as illustrated.
Press the end cap onto the sensor
accordingly and tighten the
screw.
Mounting of the fibre-optics
Mount the fibre-optic onto the
sensor. Ensure the locating pins
are correctly aligned and tighten
the coupling nut.
Setting
Set the sensitivity by means of
the potentiometer.
In case of interfering background,
reduce the sensitivity if used as a
diffuse-reflection sensor.
In case of transparent units, redu-
ce the sensitivity if used as a
through-beam sensor.
