Special features

The welding controller features the following specifics:
 Control is prepared for a networking with an Interbus-PMS or professional bus
cbm or ethernet assembly.
 Special RS232 protocol for ABB – RC communication
 Control is prepared for the control system PSQ6000 XQR
From firmware version -204: Rewelds are not done in UIR-mode, but in KSR- or
PHA-mode (regarding measuring, regulation, supervision)
 Special parameters (1017,1018,1019) for RC communication
 No discrete I/O's
 No function „Weld without command"
 Only for PSI6xxx.421: 24 VDC Stop Circuit open / no 24V, fault is automatically
reset
 Pressure feedback on X2
 The DC link voltage is verified outside the sequence, the fault message is
automatically reset
 With start tip dress request function
When this function is activated for a specific electrode a „Tip Dress Request"
will come immediately after the „Tip replaced" input signal.
 Only for PSI6xxx.421:
Q-Stop (since firmware version -205, only in combination with UI-Regulation
firmware version -408)
The automatic controller map solves, if Q-Stop actively and if within the
monitoring arose to conditioned tolerance volume injury of UIP or PSF and if
the function were selected by the user, automatically a repetition of the spot
welding. This spot repetition is driven into KSR regulation and KSR monitoring.
The automatic controller map stores the number of these conditioned
repetitions of spots in a counter, which is to be represented in the UIR process
overview.
