After draping, place the Sterile Field Clamp on the O.R. table rail over the
drape just below the anesthesia screen. It is recommended that the clamp
be placed on the same side of the table as the operative knee. Clamp
placement should be a minimum of 30 centimeters from the top of the
operative field. Locate the table rail underneath the drape and engage the
lower jaw of the clamp on the rail. Tighten the knob at the top of the post.

Lock the support arm
position by pushing up on
the securing handle (1).
Proper set-up for
a right knee.
Position the frame arm over
the patients leg so that the
clamp at the distal end of
the arm is 15 centimeters
below the top of the
knee (with leg in flexion)
and approximately 10
centimeters from the top
of the thigh.

With the securing handle of the post clamp (1) in the unlocked position, insert
the support arm into the clamp.
