This is subject to technical reasons and nothing
to worry about. Plates can be warmed up on the
heating plate on position 1. The appliance cannot
be switched off at the temperature control!
Hints for use
After heating up, do not operate the appliance
with an empty pan for longer time, but fill oil in it
soon. Hang up the half circle shaped grating at
the brim of the Wok. Laid on the grating, fried
food can drip, browned food can be kept warm
and ingredients can be steamed on it.
At first, put the ingredients which need a longer
cooking time in the hot oil. Add tender things
such as mushrooms or shoots later.
Firstly roast the ingredients cut in small pieces on
the bottom of the Wok and then move them to the
brim. For preparing larger quantities it is better to
work with smaller portions or to operate the pan
on the stove or on a ceramic hob. Afterwards the
cooking process can be finished on the heating
element standing on the table.
During having meal the dish can be kept warm on
position 1.
Recipes
Bami Goreng
300 g filet from chicken, 200g of vermicelli, 5
tablespoons of oil, 60 g of soy shoot sprouts, 1
onion, 1 clove of garlic, 200g of Chinese cabba-
ge, 100g of leek, 100g of peas, 4 tablespoons of
soy sauce, pepper
Cut the meat in 5 mm thick small pieces, allow
the vermicelli to boil in salted water with 1 table-
spoon of oil for 7 minutes, tip them into the sieve,
add the soy shoots, let both drip. Peel and cut in
small pieces the onion and the clove of garlic,
add one teaspoon of salt. Clean cabbage and
leek and cut in narrow stripes.
Thaw the peas. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil and
brown the meat. Add vegetable and sear it for 1
minute only ( to leave it crisp). Add soy sauce.
Add and heat up vermicelli and sprouts. Taste
the dish and serve it.
Side-dish: rice
Pork "Bombay"
2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of
sherry, 250 g of pork cutlet, 1 tablespoon of soy
oil, 1-2 tablespoons of curry, 150 g of carrots, 1
small onion, 1/8 l of beef broth, 1 teaspoon of
cornflour, 2 tablespoons of sweet cream, 1 bana-
na cut into slices, 75 g of peas (deep frozen), salt
Cut the meat, carrots and onion in 5 mm thick
small pieces, mix soy sauce and sherry, marinate
the meat in it for 1 hour.
Brown meat and vegetable in hot oil, sprinkle
curry on it, add water to it and let everything
braise for approx. 10 minutes.
Mix cream with cornflour and bind the meal with
it. Add banana and pies and let everything cook
for further 5 minutes, taste it.
Side-dish: wide rice-noodles
Fish in hot sauce
350 g fillet of plaice, 70 ml of peanut oil, 2 teas-
poons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of Chinese rice vine-
gar (or cider vinegar)
For the sauce: 70 ml of chickens broth, 1 tables-
poon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice wine
(or dry sherry), 1 teaspoon of chili bean sauce,
white pepper
Cut the fish in 2,5 cm thick stripes. Heat up oil
until it is very hot, brown the fish in portions until
it is golden brown, take it out of the Wok in order
to dry it on kitchen paper. Pour out the oil and
clean the Wok: Put all ingredients for the sauce
into the Wok, let them boil. Change back the heat
and let everything simmer. Add the fish and stir
slightly for 2 minutes (so that the fish does not
disintegrate)
Side-dish: rice
Vegetable dish (vegeterian)
750 g fresh vegetable (according to season), for
example Chinese cabbage, carrots, leek, cour-
gettes, soy bean shoots, 1 clove of garlic, salt, 2
cm of fresh ginger root, 4 tablespoons of peanut
oil, 1/8 l of vegetable broth, 3 tablespoons of soy
sauce, 3 tablespoons of rice wine (or sherry),
black pepper, 1 tablespoon of cornflour
Wash the vegetable, peel it partly and cut it in sli-
ces of the same size, Peel the clove of garlic and
press it with some salt in the mortar. Peel and
chop the ginger root. Heat up the peanut oil in the
Wok. While stirring constantly, brown garlic and
chopped ginger. Add vegetable gradually. Steam
it done for 3-5 minutes while pouring vegetable
broth gradually.
Season it with soy sauce, rice wine and pepper.
Before serving stir cornflour till smooth with 2
tablespoons of water and bind the vegetable dish
with it.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from
the socket and let the appliance cool down.
Never immerse the heating element into water.
For cleaning the outside of the appliance, use a
damp cloth and some washing up liquid. Pot and
lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
