6.4.5 Contact protection

The microswitches used are designed for operation with both direct and alternating voltage. In
order to avoid damage to the contacts caused by any inductive, capacitive and lamp loads which
occur, a appropriate protective circuit (spark suppression or current limitation) should be provided
to suit the operational case in question.
