Please read these instructions carefully before operating your product for the first time and
pay special attention to the safey information. It is important for people's safety to follow these
instructions. Non observance of these instructions can mean injury to people and/or damage
to property when using the product. Non observance releases the manufacturer from his
liability. Please keep these instructions until disposal or pass them on when selling the
product on. These instructions also contain information on maintenance, care and repair.
These roller shutters have been delivered and installed by specialists from the roller shutter
and sun protection technology trade. Repairs and uninstallations may only be carried out
by trained personnel. Please do not undertake any changes to the product yourself. Safe
operation can then no longer be guaranteed.
These instructions contain important information on operation and maintenance. They detail
operation of roller shutters with belt, crank or motor drive.
Deviating operations or special solutions are not covered in these instructions.

1.1 SAFETY INFORMATION

Non observance of the respective instructions for operating the products can
cause danger to people and animals or cause impairment of the product or
damage to other property.
The product may only be operated in a technically faultless state as well as with
its designated use, safety and danger awareness and adhering to operating
instructions. Disruptions which could impair safety, must be removed immediately.

1.2 DESIGNATED USE

The roller shutter which you have purchased is a retractable or extendable finish which is used
in front of a window or door as winter or summer privacy, sun or heat protection. Additionally,
a roller shutter offers an increased measure of soundproofing, security and facade protection.
Any other use than these is considered as nondesignated use. Roller shutters may only be
used for their designated use.
The roller shutters comply with all relevant regulations of the Construction Products
Regulations 305/2011.
Lowered roller shutters are no protection against falling out of a window!
Roller shutters are not suitable as lifting or pulling element for other purposes. Additional
load on roller shutters by hanging objects can lead to damage and is therefore not permitted.
Faulty roller shutters need to be replaced immediately by a specialist dealer.
Internorm Windows UK Ltd. is not liable for any damage caused by non-designated use.
